(ਸਮਾਜਵੀਕਲੀ) ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ‘ਬਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ’ ਤੇ ‘ਅਸ਼ਟਮ ਬਲਬੀਰਾ’ ਜਿਹੇ ਲਫਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਜੋਤ ਦੇ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਵਾਰਸ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸਨ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼1656 ਈ: ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ। ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮਰਾਇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਔਰੰਗਜੇਬ ਦੇ ਅਸਰ-ਰਸੂਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਪੰਕਤੀ ‘ਮਿਟੀ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਕੀ ਪੇੜੈ ਪਈ ਕੁਮਿਆਰ’ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ‘ਮਿੱਟੀ ਬੇਈਮਾਨ ਕੀ, ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਗੱਦੀ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਜੋਂ 6 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 1661 ਈ: ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਆਸੀਨ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 5 ਸਾਲ, 3 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਾਏ ਧੀਰ ਮੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੁਝ ਮਸੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੰਢਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਇੱਧਰੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ। ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ। ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਗੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ। ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੇ-ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪਧਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤ ਸਮਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਨਹਿ ਮਲੇਸ਼ ਕੋ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਹ ਹੈ’ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਹੇਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਖ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਇਕ ਸਾਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਆਪ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਹੜੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਲੇਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।..

Fresh spurt in corona cases in Bhopal and Indore

In the first four days of June, Bhopal overtook Indore in terms of new cases of corona patients. To Indore’s 147, Bhopal reported 163 coronavirus cases. The figures for the corresponding period last month were Bhopal 55, and Indore 125. Friday’s figures changed the picture with 55 patients testing positive in Indore against Bhopal’s 51. The two major cities have shown that they cannot handle a crisis without enough discipline. Neemuch appeared on the corona map of the state with five cases in the first week of May and recorded a big pike in the past couple of weeks. With 38 cases reported on Friday, Neemuch has logged 290 so far. The state reported 234 fresh cases on Friday just as the administration claimed to have checked the spread of the virus. The health department bulletin issued on Friday reported nearly 150 cases from Indore, Bhopal and Neemuch. The police administration and the health department have some embarrassing questions to answer over the fresh spurt of cases in Indore and Bhopal. The major hotspot in Indore was Khajrana where more than 200 patients were found positive in the past four days. Bhopal has more than a dozen such hotspots, where the number of patients has increased rapidly. This includes Jehangirabad, Aishbagh, Mangalwara, Banganga, Kotra Sultanabad, Qazi Camp, Idgah Hills and other areas. The causes for the rapid rise in numbers in Bhopal are: People not following safe physical distancing, are moving without masks, and lack of sanitation in slums where houses are built above big gutters in narrow lanes with people constantly contacting each other...

54 nominations rejected for Karnataka by-elections

Bengaluru, The Chief Electoral Officer rejected 54 nominations filed by 30 candidates for the 15 Karnataka Assembly by-elections, scheduled on December 5, after a day-long scrutiny of 355 candidatures received till Monday, an official said here on Tuesday. “In all, 301 nominations have been accepted,” a poll official told IANS. Of the 248 candidates, 218 nominations, including 125 Independents, were found valid. The candidates, include 15 each of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition Congress and 14 of the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S), which is not contesting the Hoskote seat in the Bengaluru rural district. Other contestants include one of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for the Vijayangara seat and two of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for Chikkaballapura and Hunsur seats. The last date of withdrawal is November 21. The votes will be counted on December 9...

(ਰਾਜਾ) ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਆ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਂ ਤਾੜੂ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੇ। 3. ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਰਾਜੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਐਬ ਨਾ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਪਰਜਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਭਚਿੰਤਕ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। 4. ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। 5. ਬਗਾਵਤ ਦੇ ਬਹਾਨੇ ਨਵਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਾਗੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠਿਕਾਣੇ ਲਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। 6. ਨਵਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਨਵੀਂ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਰਿਆਸਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰੱਖੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਰਕਾਲੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨੇੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁੰਗਰਦੇ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਝੱਟ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵ ਉੱਠਣ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਵਾਂ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨਮਾਨੀ, ਲੁੱਟ-ਖਸੁੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਜਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੁੱਖ-ਸੁਖ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਆਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ। 7. ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇੰਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਗਲਾ ਉੱਠ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ। 8. ਅਜਨਬੀ ਰਿਆਸਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਖਾ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਹੀਲੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।..
