ਵੇਰਕਾ, 28 ਨਵੰਬਰ (ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੱਗਾ)-ਹਲਕਾ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਕਸਬਾ ਵੇਰਕਾ `ਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਫੈਲੀ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ `ਚ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਨਗਰ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ `ਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ | ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਜੇਰੇ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ (71) ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਸਿਤਾਰਾ ਐਵੀਨਿਊ ਵੇਰਕਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਮਾਨ ਡੇਂਗੂੁ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹਾਰਟ ਅਟੈਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪੀੜਤ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੇਰਕਾ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮਜੀਠਾ ਬਾਈਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਵੇਰਕਾ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ਾਨਘਾਟ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਿਖਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਲੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਗਈ | ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ `ਚ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ 22 ਸਾਲਾ ਨਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਵ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਅਜੀਤ ਨਗਰ ਵੇਰਕਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਗੜਨ `ਤੇ ਵੇਰਕਾ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਥੇ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਪਰ ਰੋਗ `ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਨਾ ਪੈਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਥੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ | ਹਲਕਾ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਰਕਾ, ਵੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਮੋਹਕਮਪੁਰਾ `ਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 13 `ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ |..

Bike ambulance to cover entire Delhi: CM

ew Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said his government plans to expand the bike ambulance services to the entire city as he claimed that the pilot with 16 bikes was successful. To provide the last-mile emergency healthcare services to the people of Delhi living in the narrow lanes, the government launched the bike ambulance service in February. Kejriwal said his government has decided to expand the service to cover all of Delhi. “I am happy that patients living in the narrow lanes are also getting the health facilities through bike ambulances. Soon, this will be expanded to the entire city,” said Kejriwal. The Delhi government had in February this year flagged off 16 bike ambulances on a pilot basis in one district of east Delhi. “The service received an overwhelmingly response from residents. Bus marshals’ number to be raised to 13,000: Kejriwal

New Delhi, To ensure safety of women in the public transport, number of marshals deployed in the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses will be increased to around 13,000. “From tomorrow (Tuesday), marshals are being deployed in every bus for providing safety to women. These 13,000 marshals will also help sick people and deal with any other emergency situations. Delhi is the only state where marshals are being deployed for the safety of people,” Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said here on Monday. Addressing newly recruited bus marshals at the Tyagraj Stadium, Kejriwal said he was assigning them with duty to ensure safe ride for women in buses. Make them comfortable in buses, he told marshals. The announcement has come a day before the rollout of the scheme to provide free ride to women in DTC and cluster buses. The move would help achieve government commitment towards boosting security of women in Delhi, he added. (ਸਮਾਜਵੀਕਲੀ) ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ‘ਬਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ’ ਤੇ ‘ਅਸ਼ਟਮ ਬਲਬੀਰਾ’ ਜਿਹੇ ਲਫਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਜੋਤ ਦੇ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਵਾਰਸ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸਨ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼1656 ਈ: ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ। ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮਰਾਇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਔਰੰਗਜੇਬ ਦੇ ਅਸਰ-ਰਸੂਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਪੰਕਤੀ ‘ਮਿਟੀ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਕੀ ਪੇੜੈ ਪਈ ਕੁਮਿਆਰ’ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ‘ਮਿੱਟੀ ਬੇਈਮਾਨ ਕੀ, ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਗੱਦੀ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਜੋਂ 6 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 1661 ਈ: ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਆਸੀਨ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 5 ਸਾਲ, 3 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਾਏ ਧੀਰ ਮੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੁਝ ਮਸੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੰਢਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਇੱਧਰੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ। ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ। ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਗੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ। ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੇ-ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪਧਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤ ਸਮਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਨਹਿ ਮਲੇਸ਼ ਕੋ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਹ ਹੈ’ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਹੇਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਖ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਇਕ ਸਾਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਆਪ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਹੜੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਲੇਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।..
