In a statement issued Bukhari urged the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to order a high level probe into the disappearance of three labourers–Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Sagar Hussain, Ibrar Ahmed, son of Bagha Khan and Ibrar Ahmed son of Mohammad Yousuf whose whereabouts are unknown since July 17.

Washington, The US Department of Defence has confirmed that two US soldiers were killed after an attack on a joint US-Afghan military operation in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province on Saturday.
“Both soldiers died February 8, 2020 in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, as a result of wounds sustained while engaged in combat operations,” said the Pentagon in a statement released on Sunday, adding that the incident is under investigation, Xinhua reported.
Both soldiers were assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), according to the statement.
US media reported Saturday that a firefight had taken place between Afghan and American soldiers in eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province earlier in the day, leading to fatalities on both sides.

New Delhi, (Samajweekly) Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chief Swati Maliwal on Thursday visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and met the 12-year-old girl, who was sexually assaulted earlier this week and her family. Maliwal assured the family that “the Commission would provide all possible help” to them.
Maliwal has also issued summons to the DCP in-charge questioning why no arrest has been made in this case so far. Speaking to reporters after her visit, Maliwal said, “The victim was brutally assaulted to the extent that every body part suffered injuries. Despite such a brutal crime, no arrest has been made.”
“I am issuing summons to the DCP in-charge to find out why an arrest has not been made so far and what kind of investigation are they conducting,” she said.
Maliwal further assured all possible assistance to the victim and her family.
The minor was sexually assaulted and brutally attacked in Outer Delhi’s Paschim Vihar West area on Tuesday evening. The girl has also sustained brutal wounds and is battling for life at AIIMS. The Delhi police have formed several teams to arrest the accused.
According to police the incident took place at her house on Tuesday evening when she was alone. She was found critically injured and bleeding profusely. The victim was first taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in a blood-soaked condition where doctors referred her to AIIMS after first aid.
